Ontario Herp Atlas

Ontario Nature has a great Atlas for the Reptiles and Amphibians found in Ontario (as well as many other animals).

On their Website (link above), you will find information on everything from a list of species and tips for finding them to the legal protection and threats of reptiles and amphibians.

Ontario Nature also has a data base with an interactive map that the community can use as an aid in locating native reptiles and amphibians to Ontario. This is part of their project to "mind the gap" and use citizen science to document the distribution and location of species populations. If you would like, they have a submission page where you can report your sightings and be a part of this project.
